ELECTRICAL SAFETY- PANACEA TO INCESSANT FIRE OUTBREAK IN BUILDINGS
Statistics has shown that 75% of most fire outbreak in buildings especially in commercial buildings in Nigeria are as a result of electrical faults. [Lagos State Fire and Safety Services, Olaoye Ahmed, 2014). Similarly, the United States Fire Administration stated that between 2014 and 2016 electric fire accounted for 63% of all residential fire outbreak with approximately 24,000 fires being reported each year.
