This innovative model specifically targets hospitals and medical institutions sectors that critically depend on constant electricity for lifesaving services.
Under this model:
- We install and fully fund solar energy systems for hospitals at zero upfront cost.
- The hospitals are billed based on their energy consumption (measured in kilowatt-hours) at a significantly subsidized rate.
This approach not only improves energy reliability but also substantially reduces operating expenses for healthcare facilities. Research indicates that up to 70% of hospital expenditures in many parts of Nigeria stem from energy related costs, primarily due to reliance on diesel generators and inconsistent grid supply.
